The Google Things

Right, so, there are an awful lot of google web applications that I'm not sure are all that popular, really. They seem to make these things and then not tell anyone about them, just to see if they can make it all work.

The useful ones I have found, are these:

http://www.orkut.com/Main#Home - This looks like a google facebook. When facebook finally dies, which I hope it does, I'll be using this one instead

http://www.blogger.com/home - This, obviously, is google blogging. Turns out it's easy to use, and since blogging is a great way to keep people updated about my travels, I might as well use it.

http://picasaweb.google.com/home - This is online photo storage. Upload pictures to here, and blogger links to picasa with a click of a button.

http://picasa.google.com/ - This is a free google download. It sorts your pictures for you, and it even has face recognition built into it. So if you've got a lot of pictures of one person, name 1 picture and it'll recognize that person and tag them in every photo of them it finds. Fucking sweet. (You can also edit photographs)

All of this shit works with your g-mail sign in. So you don't have to set up new accounts and stuff, it's already all there. If you have a g-mail account, you also have: Blogging, Pictures Editing Sotware, a new facebook and free storage for your photographs.

Grrrrrrrrrrrreat!

Blog Blog Blog Blog

I am cooking pasta while watching The Sixth Sense on the TV. I woke up at half one today, which is bad. And I need to book my flight to newcastle, but for some reason I keep putting it off. The webpage is open in front of me, and I haven't booked it. I don't know why.

Also, Stu will be home soon. He'll either go round his friends house, leaving me alone and bored here (because I don't think I can sit there listening to their stories from in school any more) or bring them round here, so they're in my face and I have to be there. But I don't want to be bored. And I am. Blah

Another First

Never blogged beore, but google is taking me on a trip into the unknown lately. They've got some fuckin' usefull stuff too. It's the future, you mark my words
